There are so many great benefits to conscious breathing—one of which is increased energy. It is possible to energize yourself without reaching for that cup of coffee.

The more you practice the breathwork I’ll be leading you through in this video, the more energy and vitality you’ll build.

Sitting tall—either on the floor or in a chair. Clasping your hands and locking your palms together by overlapping the fingers of each hand and crossing the thumbs. The fingers of the right hand are on top of the left hand and the fingers of the left hand wrap the outside of the right hand. Holding the hands at the center of the chest, the heart center.

Inhaling in three strokes through the mouth and with each stroke, tightening and relaxing the grip of the two hands. Exhaling through the nose in one stroke with the hands clasped, but you do not squeeze them.

Your eyes will be closed.
