Don’t you just love the weekends? Whether it’s the traditional Saturday/Sunday or two other days you have off during the week, there’s nothing like the opportunity to relax and rejoice. Well, today I’ll be guiding you through the Meditation to Relax & Rejoice from Kundalini Yoga. With regular practice, I can’t promise it will feel like the weekend every day, but I can tell you, it will make you feel good!
In fact, because you might feel a little too good. It’s suggested you do this meditation when you have time to rest afterwards to help ground you.
Sitting tall in either a chair or on the floor. You’ll make a fist with your left hand with the thumb inside. Now wrapping the right hand around the left fist, and then placing the right thumb over the base of the left thumb. Your elbows are relaxed down by the sides and your eyes are focused on the tip of your nose.
Inhaling through your nose, and on the exhale, repeating the mantra “Haree Har” eight times. (Note: the “r” in both words is pronounced like a “d”).
I’d love to hear about your experience in the comments and as always, am grateful if you pass along this video and/or let other know about my channel.
